The Challenge
Bettair needed a market-ready MVP that proved out both its air-quality sensor hardware and the software running it — durable and visually appealing enough for a real product launch. The system had to visualize real-time data from over 100,000 daily measurements, on mobile and web alike, for a target audience that includes Fortune 500 and Big4 companies.
The Solution

- Supabase, self-hosted via Docker instead of Firebase, for full data control and free local development
- TimescaleDB over InfluxDB, chosen for simplicity at scale with large time-series datasets
- Flutter for a single codebase shipping to mobile and web simultaneously

- Kafka and IoT infrastructure for real-time data ingestion and processing
